My First Mother's Day

Mother's Day is even more special now that I am one. A little reminder how bad ass mothers are. Pregnancy, childbirth and countless sleepless nights, among many other firsts and accomplishments. It was such a beautiful day honoring all we sacrifice. Motherhood is the best gift I've ever been given. Thank you sweet boy for reminding me every day how truly lucky I am.

It was a warm and sunny day which was such a blessing. We decided to take the babe to the racetrack for a picnic and to bet the horses. He was our good luck charm as always. The day was so beautiful. I'll never forget it.
