"Donut Grow Up" Themed Birthday Party

Who can refuse an invitation to a donut party? Not me. Dip me in chocolate and add some sprinkles because I’m all about that doughnut life! And so is Richie! 

We hosted his third birthday at Adventure Land, an amusement park on Long Island, and before everyone hit the rides, we served lunch and doughnuts of every variety - glazed doughnuts, cake doughnuts, chocolate-covered donuts, crullers, donuts with sprinkles, donut holes, cream-filled doughnuts, jelly doughnuts and doughnuts stuffed with other yummy fillings.

How to Have A Donut Party

In addition to having lots of doughnuts to eat at your party, make sure the decor reflects the party theme. Pastel colors are a good choice for a doughnut party. Decorate with donut balloons like these, confetti-filled balloons, doughnut-shaped inflatables and hang a donut party banner.

Use a peg board, a wooden stand or acrylic stands as a creative way to serve doughnuts at your party. We used this one. Or try a tiered party tray or cake stand. You also can create cute donut bouquets to use as centerpieces.
