Exceptional dishes from Renowned Chefs, James Beard Award winners, Food Network stars and Michelin-starred masters like Bobby Flay, Nancy Silverton, and Michael Symon, cooked in minutes and placed right at your doorstep. Genius! Here's how it works: diners select, order and pay for their dishes with the Wonder app then Wonder's mobile kitchen vehicle comes to you and crafts your dishes on board outside your home, and serves them right to your door with no service or delivery fees. Since moving to New Jersey, we have struggled to find the same food experiences that we had in New York but this! This new concept that Wonder has put forth has changed the game. Big time. There is no other place I'll order from for my family. Chef JJ Johnson's southern menu items from the acclimated Estelle & Jeanie's cooked outside my house and placed on my doorstep. Award Winning Chef Jonathan Waxman's Italian accented, farm-fresh food for my family to enjoy. Yes, please!
The chefs on board the Wonder mobile kitchen have been trained by celebrated chefs (Michelin Starred Chef Chen, the Acclimated Chef Seamus Mullen, to name a few) and restaurants, like Barrio Cafe and Maydan, to make their exact recipes. And let me tell you, we ordered Greek dishes from Michael Symon's Chios Taverna and they were spot on. Menu items we tried included Grilled Octopus with yellow spilt peas, capers, mint and olive oil; Crab Ketedes lump crab, panko crumbs, Aleppo pepper, and yogurt; Chicken Souvalki grilled chicken, little gem lettuce, tomato, onion, and tzatiziki; Spanakopita spinach-and-feta filled hand pie wrapped in a flaky phyllo pastry, as well as Chicken Fingers and French Fries for the boys. The food was exactly like I remember from Symon's restaurant - beautifully prepared, full of flavor and served piping hot. Delivery was on time and quick too.
