It was so hot that I took over Richie's kiddie pool to cool off. He didn't mind at all. He's such a good babe. 

Richie loved these little mini flags. He walked around with them almost all day. 

Richie loved all the treats, toys and books we put in his Easter basket. This was the first year, he was able to enjoy it. Last year, he was a little baby so it was a lot of fun watching him open it on Easter Sunday. 

We couldn't be more thrilled to announce that our family is growing. Our little babe is so excited to be a BIG BROTHER and to have a lifelong best friend. 

My husband and I are over the moon excited but also nervous about this new beginning we are about to embark. We will be sharing our journey with you, including everything from our gender reveal, how we will prepare for baby number two, getting Richie ready to be a big brother, how we'll get two babies to fit in one room until we purchase another home, and the overall, emotional roll coaster we'll experience along the way. Hope you will follow our journey and possibly learn something through our experience. 

We originally made this ginger bread cookies for Santa but Richie decided that Old St. Nick would be just as happy with chocolate chip so we've had nothing but crumbs left.

His fascination with our snow globes was nothing short of magical. If only we could see the world the way they do. 

This is our little spot in the morning. He waves goodbye to his Dad out the window then we sit and have a drink. He has his juice and I have my coffee. Here he is trying to tell me a story. I’m not sure what that story is but his animated facial expressions, hand gestures and blah blah blahs are at an all time high. He has also been sharing his food and really won’t stop holding it out until you eat it. It’s very cute that he wants to share but we are all, “no thanks, kid.” Especially when it’s a half eaten snack covered in slobber. ​

Richie's first Fourth of July weekend was jammed packed. We had plans every single day from Friday through Tuesday and he was a champ - -  full of smiles and laughter the entire time. We wore him out so much that he slept 13 hours straight on Fourth of July.  Not only was it the party animal's first Independence Day but he swam in the pool, eat watermelon and took his first shower (an outdoor one) for the FIRST time. It was truly a beautiful weekend full of 'rich' experiences. 

Our little Easter Bunny seriously had a blast taking photos with his bunny ears. He didn't even try to take them off. I'm so loving that he is such a ham for the camera and hope it always stays this way. P.s. Can we talk about how cute this onesie is? AND I got it off AMAZON. Adorable. 

On Easter Sunday, we spent the day at my husband's parents house on the water out East on Long Island. It was super warm out and we brought a little play yard for Richie to play in outside on the grass in front of the bay. He went crazy for it and LOVED all the attention he got from family. He also loved his Easter baskets. The day was nothing short of spectacular.

Richie went bananas for the play yard. I cannot wait to take him to the beach this summer since he is loving being outside so much. We are ready for SUMMER.  

My heart bursts over these two. Could you die over these photos? Their bond is like no other. HEART SWOON! 

I was feeling very nostalgic this month. Had all the fun, warm fuzzy feels because last year on Valentine's Day, we announced we were 17 weeks pregnant with the photo below and yesterday, we got to celebrate with our sweet boy. It's incredible how much can change in just one year. We've added so much more love to our family since then. Celebrating with my two babes was so special. 

Our little chippendale had a great first Valentine's Day. I think he knew it was a holiday because he was smiles and giggles all day long. We took tons of photos together and my husband brought home a super fancy dinner for us. My favorite gift was a letter my husband wrote from the babe to me. It was an entire card filled with the most beautiful words. It made me cry, of course. I've always been more of a love letter type gal. Gifts are fantastic but I want to hear all the gooey, yummy love stuff.  I'm engraving the memory of this day in my mind so it lasts forever.
