The First Holiday as a Family of Four

Halloween was the first holiday we celebrated together as a family of four. Rich took the day off and we spent time together. There were a ton of treats involved and we got outside because the weather was just perfect - crisp, cool but seasonably warm for October. It was an absolute blast. 

Richie was a scarecrow, the cutest one I've ever seen but I know I'm bias. We tried for the raffia (since it looks like hay) to make it look a little more realistic but he hated the texture so overalls, a flannel, hat and face makeup it was! I feel Halloween will be a lot of fun once he is a little older so we can really go all out and he can help decide what he is going to be. 

I had this cute bunny hat for Ryder so I just decided I'd match and be a bunny rabbit too. My little snuggle bunny kept me so warm - a huge plus when baby wearing. I'm such a big fan of carrying him in the sling. 

It was a great first holiday for us. We loved all the special family time. Happy Halloween!
